Dr. Rick Sadler speaks at Sharper Focus/Wider Lens: Looking at Flint: The Past, Present and Future of the City


Rick Sadler is an assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine.

  • Like Professor Furr-Holden, he engages in Flint public health research through the MSU College of Human Medicine’s Division of Public Health.
  • Sadler’s research is aimed at strengthening the understanding between the built environment and health behaviors and outcomes, with the goal of shaping land use policy to build healthier cities.
  • He earned his doctorate from the University of Western Ontario.
